## How to Set-up Synergy Slots

Synergy system allows for Kaidro NFT holders to be able to input groups of 3 NFTs together into slots to allow for synergy.

The amount of Synergy and Kalodium that a player receives is based off of their NFT slot sets that they put together.\
\&#xNAN;*Note:* *Certain number of Rank Points = Alpha-$KDR*\

The Rank Points and Kalodium are calculated and revealed at the end of the week cycle. Note: During the processing time there will be an hourglass, when it is complete there will be a green check mark.&#x20;

### <mark style="color:orange;">Rules for Synergy Points Calculation</mark>

* **Clan Consistency**\
  All NFTs must be from the same Clan.
* #### Number of NFTs

  Exactly 3 NFTs are required to create a synergy lockup and earn points.
* #### Daily Synergy Points Calculation
  1. Calculate the sum of tier point values
  2. If there is a color bonus accumulate that bonus percentage into a bonus multiplier
  3. If there is a dual or triple nft collection bonus, accumulate that bonus percentage into a bonus multiplier
  4. Multiply the point value sum by 1 + our bonus multiplier
  5. Round down the resulting value to its nearest whole integer

### <mark style="color:orange;">Rules for Kalodium Drop Calculation</mark>

* #### Per-Lockup Drop

  Kalodium drops are given based on the Synergy Points of each Synergy-Lockup.
* **To calculate the Kalodium:**

  1. Take the lockup's Weekly Synergy Points.
  2. Divide that number by 5.
  3. Round down to the nearest whole number.

  This is the amount of Kalodium you will receive.
* #### Example Calculation

  1. You create a synergy lockup group earning 118 points over 3 days = 354 rank points.
  2. 354 / 5 = 70.8 KALO
  3. rounding down = 70 KALO

  You get 70 KALO airdropped to your wallet for that synergy slot during the rewards finalization period.

### <mark style="color:orange;">Lock up Cohorts</mark>

* #### Timezone

  Lockups are measured and counted according to the GMT timezone (Greenwich Mean Time)
* #### Cohort Duration

  Each lockup cohort lasts for a maximum of 6 days, starting on a Sunday at midnight GMT and ending on a Saturday 1 second before midnight when the rewards finalization period begins.
* #### Timeout Periods

  If a calendar week spans multiple months, the lockup system will not be available during that week ('time out').
* #### Earning Rewards

  You will accrue rewards for lockups created within the lockup cohort period according to how many days the lockup is active in GMT.

### <mark style="color:orange;">Forfeiting</mark>

* #### Forfeiting

  If you transfer or sell any NFTs in a lockup, you will lose the rank points, Kalodium rewards, and any other associated rewards for that lockup. Lockups that have been forfeited will be displayed with a neutral background color instead of a clan-specific background.
* #### Synergizing after Forfeiting

  NFTs other than the one(s) you sold or transferred can still be used to create new synergies.\
  For example: If you own 4 NFTs A,B,C,D and you create and forfeit a lockup of A,B,C by selling NFT A, you can still create a new lockup with NFTs B,C,D. You will not receive any rewards for the forfeited lockup of A,B,C.

### <mark style="color:orange;">Rank Points Earned From Quest Badges</mark>

* You will earn points for badges, and can see the points by clicking on the badges in the journal
* For details on rarity and points earnings, click into your earned badges.

### <mark style="color:orange;">Vouchers</mark>

* #### Voucher Expiry

  Any vouchers held at the end of the finalization period will be lost. Vouchers are valid for a single lockup cohort.

### <mark style="color:orange;">Finalization</mark>

* #### Time Period

  The finalization period occurs during Saturdays (GMT).
* #### Impact on Rewards

  Daily rewards are not accumulated during the finalization period, so the maximum number of days that you can accumulate rewards using synergy is 6 days.
* #### Reward Distribution

  Rewards are distributed to your wallet during the finalization period. The rewards are distributed in the form of Kalodium tokens and rank points earned from your synergy lockups.

### Future plans

* $KDR to be used for Synergy Slot payments.

### Leaderboard

The Kaidro monthly leaderboard will show where people stand amongst other fellow Kaidro NFT community members.

The leaderboard is dependent on rank points gained from the Spin Wheel, Quests and Synergy. The points will accumulate on a monthly basis and a snapshot will be taken.

At the end of every month cycle for the leaderboard, rewards will be distributed to those who qualify by having a minimum of 150 Rank Points. The minimum Rank Points are subject to change.
